In the latest Nintendo Direct video presentation, Nintendo teased a variety of games coming to Switch this year and into 2022, including new entries for the beloved franchises like Bayonetta 3, Splatoon 3, a new massive DLC Monster Hunter Rise – Sunbreak, several new exciting games and more!
“Heading into its sixth year, Nintendo Switch and its wide variety of games continue to offer experiences for various types of players,” said Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Communications. “In this latest Nintendo Direct, we are looking ahead to a year packed with new games in well-known franchises, as well as unique and exciting titles from our development and publishing partners.”

Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Announcement Trailer

First Look at Bayonetta 3 Gameplay
A new trailer for this stylish, action-filled sequel showed off gameplay for the first time, revealing a new look for Bayonetta and new mechanics, including the ability for Bayonetta to directly control demons. Bayonetta 3 will launch for Nintendo Switch in 2022. More information about the game will be released at a later date.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
Under the moonlight, new threats emerge. Sink your teeth into a teaser for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, coming Summer 2022. This massive paid expansion pack to Monster Hunter Rise brings new stories, locales, monsters, hunting actions & quest rank.
Splatoon 3 – “Return of the Mammalians” Trailer
Details are fuzzy but Splatoon 3’s new weapons are sure to intensify Splatsville’s multiplayer Turf Wars. And some very familiar faces will be lending a hand in the game’s Story Mode, Return of the Mammalians, where the Inklings’ world is about to get a lot hairier….
