A new trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero has dropped, introducing the very best that the city of Crosbell has to offer and giving us a glimpse of this upcoming adventure.

The latest tale in the current Legend of Heroes arc just got a character trailer, giving us all a glimpse of the brave few who will fill screen and take on all manner of evil when a new adventure begins on 27 September 2022. Arriving for duty across Playstation4, PC, and Nintendo Switch the centre of this pre view is Lloyd Bannings, a newly assigned member of the Special Support Section. Across the two minute window, which you can watch above, you’ll get to see how this rookie detective handles the heat of battle, alongside his compatriots.
This also includes Elie MacDowell, a political princess out to make a little difference in the world, hacker Tio Plato, and playboy type Randy Orlando. Each of the central characters gets an opportunity to show off their skills as publisher NIS uses this as a platform for a showcase of the in game combat systems. While Trails from Zero looks like a traditional isometric JRPG, this adventure is a little more contemporary than the might and magic of old.

After returning to his home town and being assigned to the Crossbell Police Department’s new and untested unit, players will find themselves slowly discovering that a seemingly vibrant city hides a dark criminal underbelly…as well as a few terrible secrets. Fans of the Legend of Heroes series who are already sold will be able to find out more on the official website, or vote on the Trails from Zero Character Poll, where voting for your favorite character will setup a chance to win the “In Good Company” 1000-piece puzzle! Hat should help pass the time between now and September.
