Animal Crossing Mobile reveal coming in a special Nintendo Direct this Tuesday

Tune in on Oct. 24 at 8:00 p.m. PT/11:00 p.m. ET for a roughly 15-minute Animal Crossing Mobile Direct video presentation. There will be no updates on any other topics including other mobile, Nintendo Switch or Nintendo 3DS software.

Via UK site The Telegraph, we’ve learned that Nintendo Japan will be unveiling a whole lot of info on the long-awaited Animal Crossing Mobile game from Nintendo. No info on a Western direct is up yet, but since the Japan stream will happen Midday on October 25th, we can expect it possibly around the mid afternoon on the 24th for Western audiences. Revealed on Nintendo’s Japanese site first, and through their Twitter account, it’s taking place at midday on October 25 for Japan, and we can expect a livestream for the Western audience to take place at the same time, at 4:00am  on October 25. No such livestream has yet been confirmed, although they have typically taken place at the same time in past livestreams like this.

Nintendo Directs like this typically go into the exact features of the game, plus cost and release date. Given the previous estimation of this Animal Crossing game being available this year, it’s likely that this Nintendo Direct will reveal a release date in the near future, although whether Japan will receive the game prior to the rest of the world, we don’t know.
