ATELIER LULUA: THE SCION OF ARLAND

Today, Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland brings a little magic to Switch, PlayStation 4, and PCs in the west as Koei Tecmo America celebrate the release of a brand new adventure.

Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland is yet another entry in the Atelier franchise, a series of cute eastern RPGs that tend to follow the story of alchemists in training. This particular entry is the latest in the fan favorite Arland Trilogy and takes place years after the previous entry. After Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland, fans return to the same nostalgic landscape they might remember.

The Atelier series is a well-established franchise of cute JRPGs that follow a range of alchemists and their adventures. Lulua, an aspiring alchemist with an ancient codex, is the main protagonist in this entry of the Atelier franchise. Fans will need to guide this new recruit as she explores the world and learns to survive long enough to make some amazing discoveries. Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland represents a brand new adventure in this established universe, but some of the faces still remain familiar. Find out who in the release trailer, below.

This cast includes some of the worlds most colorful characters, including the most renowned alchemist and mother of Lulua, Rorolina Frixell. Ex-apprentice of Rorona and influential alchemist, Totooria Helmold makes an appearance and keen adventurer and private guardian of Totori, Mimi Houllier Von Schwarzlang also turns up. If that isn’t enough, the former knight turned chief of the ‘Guardian Force’, Sterkenburg Cranach is also included in the new Atelier line up.

Master the basics of exploration, synthesis, and battle one more time as Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland lands on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and PC today. You can get this cute new RPG from the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, or Steam right now. Alternatively, turn some lead into gold and get bartering.
