Well how about passing judgement on potential war criminals in very story heavy strategy style game? There we go. Now that we have your attention, take a ganer at We. The Revolution, which is a “unique game with a singular art style set in the blood-soaked and paranoid world of the French Revolution. As a judge of the Revolutionary Tribunal, you will pass sentences and play a dangerous political game.” In a world where no answer is obvious, this one should keep you guessing for a while.
Shadow Fencer Theater

All puppets are good puppets, but shadow puppets are probably the most overlooked, and under server puppets in all of the puppetverse. Luckily Shadow Fencer means to change all of your perceptions of shadow puppets in a “competitive awkward physics sword fighting game set in the world of shadow puppets. Take center stage with a unique cast of characters and make your way to become a Grandmaster of the theatre.” With several game modes, and a wild take on puppet characters, this game seems poised to be a whole host of fun.

As Gwen you will “experience a mother’s desperate search for her daughter during a nation-wide epidemic.” If bears have taught us anything, it’s that you can’t get between a mother and her cub. Therefore, Outbreak Lost Hope is unlikely to disappoint in the zombie dispatching department.
War Tech Fighters

The Sinking City

Do you LOVE H.P. Lovecraft. Love is already in the name, but if your answer is no, perhaps you love Cthulu inspired games? Either way, The Sinking City is one of the coolest games that may have flown under your radar. This mystery adventure revolves around “the half-submerged city of Oakmont (which) is gripped by supernatural forces. You’re a private investigator, uncovering the truth of what has possessed the city and corrupted the minds of its inhabitants… and yours.” While the jury is still out on whether you’ll see ol’ squidface in this title, it will most certainly be one of the games that 2019 is known for.
F1 2019

Maybe F1 racing interests you. Maybe you like the roar of the engine and the smell of burnt rubber and metal chassis breaking 200 MPH. If this sounds like you, then you like F1 2019. “F1 2019 features all the official teams, drivers, and all 21 circuits from the 2019 season. This year sees the inclusion of F2 with players being able to complete the 2018 season with the likes of George Russell, Lando Norris, and Alexander Albon.” With a full fledged career mode, even if F1 racing isn’t your thing, this may be just the racer you’re looking for where career play is concerned.
Furwind

The return of pixel action platformers is something that we at GameSpace can’t get enough of. Furwinds cutesy take is just one of those games that has “a colorful, pixel art style, (and is an) action-platformer that evokes the challenging classics of the genre. Embark on this epic adventure in which a little fox will fight the ominous darkness that is invading its world.” Darhûn has been released, and with a name like Darhûn you know that can’t be good. GO and defeat him, because you’re an adorable fox. I can’t be certain but that sounds like as good a plot as any.
Irony Curtain: From the Matryoshka with Love

Adventure games in their traditional point and click sense are not as prevalent as they once were. Luckily in this silly adventure title, Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka With Love will “smuggle you out of your comfort zone and throw you into the middle of a Cold War spy intrigue, where there’s an even bigger game being played.” For me, personally, games like this have a special place in my heart. Wacky, plucky, silly games that unveil a broader arc of ridiculousness will always lead to a good time. That’s a fact.
