Not A Star Wars Fan? Here’s What to Watch This Weekend!

Excuse me while I get no sleep and HYPE for Star Wars Rise Of Skywalker while writing this.  Star Wars is our Christmas tradition in this house along with Prime Rib & a pot of creamy mashed potatoes! Yet I am aware my excitement levels cause some mates to roll their eyelids so today we’re taking a quick look at what you non-Star Wars fans can enjoy or for the very fortunate just watch em all!

The Witcher – Netflix

Much anticipated (with a tinge of doubt that most folks hope to be squashed) The Witcher television series is finally here heralding Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster-hunter for hire, who journeys toward his destiny in a turbulent world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.

Cats – The Movie

Bravely taking on what so few are bold enough to do and perhaps something only a musical of such epic proportions can do successfully is Cats – The Movie.

Also launching this weekend in a movie theater near you!

The Cost Of Joy – Documentary

Have you played We Happy Few? Be sure to check out this documentary on the development of this iconic game!

Cyberpunk 2077 In Five Minutes

Perhaps the most anticipated game of 2020 Devs of Cyberpunk 2077 at CD Projekt Red answered questions from Tumblr to see in the pre-holiday weekend.

The Aeronauts Movie – Amazon Prime

Gamers are all about pioneers and seeing fantasy heroes proceed so Aeronauts is perfect for the whole family especially if you are a fan of JK Rowlings Fantastical Beasts Movies!

So this weekend isn’t just for Star Wars fans, and you don’t even have to go to a theater to enjoy something good! For those hardcore fans though, have fun dodging spoilers and if you are super curious what other games have been turned into movies check out this post from Mitch and see which movies to dive into first or avoid! 10 Worst Video Game Movies.

Enjoy your weekend!
