Your favorite Drow warrior and Hero of the North is set for a new adventure trilogy. R.A. Salvatore revealed to Nerdist’s Amy Ratcliffe, in an exclusive reveal, that he is excited to be working with Wizards of the Coast, David Pomerico, and Harper Voyager to continue publishing Drizzt novels set in the Forgotten Realms.
In 2016 Wizards of the Coast wrapped up a bunch of the storylines to popular novel series and appeared to take a break from publishing. All through 2017 redditors and fansite members feared the October 2016 publishing of Hero would be the last Drizzt novel they would see. Fortunately for us, Salvatore told the Nerdist that he feels there are many more Drizzt stories to tell and that those characters have become like a family to him.
The first title in the series is called Timeless. Salvatore told Nerdist it focuses on the story of a young weapon master, Zaknafein, who became friends with Jarlaxle, and fathered Drizzt with Matron Malice. It tells the story of a father and son who are reunited for adventures to face the machinations of the demon goddess Lolth.
