Fans of the Kingdom Hearts series were ecstatic to learn that most of the games were finally making their way to PC via Epic Games on March 30th.
However, what longtime fans weren’t as excited about was the price. Four bundles are currently available on the store:

For those fortunate enough to have a PS4, the Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Package has been available for some time for $99.99. The PS4 bundle has all of the games in the series up until KHIII. Just purchasing two of the PC bundles puts you well over that $99.99 threshold.
As some small relief, Epic Games has launched a “Release Celebration” period, where each game bundle has a slight discount and the purchase of Kingdom Hearts III includes 3 months of Disney Plus. The surprise sale lasts through April 6th, which seems extremely short since the games only appeared on the Epic Store on March 30th. For some games that have been out well over 15 years, the price still seems like it’s too high, especially when a few of the games included aren’t games at all-but HD cinematics.
With all that being said, I’m a die-hard Kingdom Hearts fan and will be taking a look at them anyway. Keep an eye on our Review section in the coming weeks for our thoughts on the PC port!
