Map managing Mini Metro and Mini Motorways just got a set of updates to celebrate 10 years of Mini.

The team behind the small-scale map management sims, Mini Metro and Mini Motorway has just dropped a bunch of new updates for this duo. Dinosaur Polo Club decided that as after a decade of mini mayhem, the time was right to add a bunch of new maps to both games, inviting players to manage traffic or usher commuters to their destinations without any traffic chaos.

Mini Motorways, the motorized traffic stopper might have been busy challenging player to ensure that roads make sense and cars flow without any snarl ups. Now they can try their hand at keeping things going on three iconic maps from Mini Metro: London, Mumbai, and the winner of our player-voted map competition, New York City!

• From the East River to Central Park. Redesign the roads of New York City’s concrete jungle!
• Labelled as India’s own ‘City of Dreams’, how will you control the traffic in the bustling metropolis of Mumbai?
• Traverse the River Thames or recreate Trafalgar Square; London’s traffic is now in your hands in this brand-new map!

Like other Mini Motorways maps, players will need to manage their way around the city’s rail lines, and now train stations. The addition of train stations means an extra traffic problem for anybody drawing routes around the block.

Mini Metro

Mini Metro, the subway strategy where players need to draw the quickest routes across a subterranean cityscape, now has three additional maps too. Crossover maps from Tokyo, Lisbon and Warsaw, are now part of the action. Theres also a new screenshot and gif generator for anybody picking up this new challenge.

Sure, the miniseries doesn’t have quite the same deep playability of something like STATIONFlow but after a decade of playtime, there’s still something charming about this simply addictive strategy. The free Mini update is available now across mobile, PC, and console. Find out more on the official website now.
