13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, the cult classic is coming to Nintendo Switch next year according to an Atlus social media update.
While plenty of us was busy sleeping off the weekend festivities, Altus West was busy at work. The publisher behind the hugely popular Persona Series dropped a note over on social media announcing that 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is coming to Nintendo Switch, b but not until 12 April 2022. We don’t have much more concrete information on the planned release, but as this title originally graced the PlayStation 4 back in 2019, we do already know we can’t wait to restart this adventure without being tied to a big screen. What we do have, is an announcement trailer to tease fans pending the completed port of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a mix of light novel and tactical combat from studio Vanillaware. The Japanese indie developer, and team behind Odin Sphere and Dragon’s Crown. Blending the traditional trope of teenagers in mechs, alongside a sci-fi mystery epic, this is a refreshing approach to storytelling that mixes the lives of 13 individuals as their fates collide. This storytelling technique holds its own against a real time strategy backdrop, giving players control of giant customizable mechs to fend off even bigger kaiju as these monsters threaten to destroy everything that you hold dear.
Anybody waiting for more information on 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim can find out more over on the official website right now, or if you’re still stuck indoors and can’t wait for the port then this unique blend of combat and 2D narrative is already available over on PlayStation storefronts right now.
