Fresh on the heels of their 2017 release of War of the Chosen, 2K and Firaxis announced the release of the XCOM© 2 Collection for Windows PC, macOS, and Linux. In celebration of this release, the XCOM© 2 Collection will be 50% off on Steam through February 3rd at 10 AM PST.
In case you have missed out on the XCOM© 2 train, here is a breakdown of the content that you will receive:
XCOM 2: This award-winning strategy game puts you on an Earth ruled by aliens with a hidden agenda masked in promises of prosperity. Stepping into the role of the commander of guerrilla forces, you will face the impossible to win back your home and save the world from the alien threat.
Four XCOM 2 DLC packs:
Resistance Warrior: Customize your figures with bonus outfits, head gear, face camo, and custom armor sets.
Anarchy’s Children: This cosmetic DLC gives you 100 new, rebellion-themed customizations for your gear.
Alien Hunter: Take your rebellion to the next level with a wide array of new armor and weapons. A new threat will require you to take the fight to the new alien Rulers that will hunter down your squadron. This DLC pack also includes a special mission which puts Central Office Bradford at the helm with guidance from an old ally.
Shen’s Last Gift: Dive deep into ADVENT’s “Lost Towers” facility with Chief Engineer Lily Shen to locate the final research of her deceased father. Unlock a new soldier class and discover their unique skill set and strategy mechanics.
XCOM 2: War of the Chosen: XCOM 2’s 2017 expansion, War of the Chosen adds new content in the fight against ADVENT. As humanity rises to overthrow the shackles of control, a new enemy, The Chosen, appear to capture the Commander and end the uprisings. This expansion includes new story content along with the introduction of a new Hero class and environments.
The XCOM 2 Collection has an ERSB rated of T for Teen and is currently available of Windows PC, macOS, and Linux for $99.99 USD (currently $49.99 on Steam) with plans for an XBOX One© and Playstation 4© release in the near future.
