Piko Interactive is Kickstarting the first Nintendo 64 game since 2003

40 winks

Texas development team, Piko Interactive LLC is proud to announce the launch of a new Nintendo 64 game, 40 Winks, on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.

This is the first Nintendo 64 game released after the console demise, an unreleased port of a PlayStation game of the same name from 1999. Weirder things have happened.

40 Winks is an action platformer where you control brother and sister, Ruff and Tumble. Your goal is to collect 40 Winks scattered around the world to stop an evil man called Nitekap. Nitekap wants to turn the winks into hood-winks who are responsible for giving children nightmares.

  • Transform into different characters! Attack as a stealth ninja, fight as ferocious monster, or fly into action as a super hero!
  • Tons of mini-games as well! Race dragons, strap on a rocket, and more!
  • 6 themed levels – scary castle, shipwreck city, outer space, deep down underwater, prehistoric world of T-Rex with giant wasps and a nightmare world of ghosts and monsters.
  • Co-op 2 player mode exclusive only to the N64 version.

Piko Interactive LLC is aiming for a $20,000 base funding to produce the Nintendo 64 cartridges that will be compatible with both American and European consoles. The game cartridges will come packaged with a cardboard box, and color instruction manual just like Nintendo sold their games back in the Nintendo 64 Era.

  1. The poor guy that just awoke from his coma to finish his N64 game must be having a hard time adjusting.
