Check out the list of the most anticipated games in 2020, and make sure to try these releases as soon as they become available!
You can find different gaming fans out there. Some love playing casino games, and they look for reviews like http://www.canadian-free-slots.com/casumo-casino/ to recommend gaming platforms filled with slots, live gaming, and other playing options. The other type prefers video games on PC or consoles.
If you find yourself in the latter category, you’ve come to the right place. Next year will bring us some exciting titles, so let’s take a look at the games we are looking forward to the most in 2020!
1. Final Fantasy 7 Remake
We wanted to start with a remake to warm up, and what better choice than Final Fantasy 7? Yoshinori Kitase, the director of the release, announced that the first part of the remake would be released in March 2020. However, I will only contain the first in-game area called Midgar.
Although the plot and most of the features will remain the same, FF7 remake will surely bring a couple of improvements, too.
2. Doom Eternal
The original Doom had been released in 1990, and a remake followed in 2016. In March 2020, we are looking forward to Doom Eternal, the sequel to the franchise’s relaunch.
All the familiar features are there, which means you can expect a lot of brutalities and high-paced action. The creator promises fighting demons in areas with zero gravity, close-up kills, and new ways to show the bad guys who the boss is. We will also see new modes in the multiplayer section, which means you will get to show you are the best Doom player out there!
3. Cyberpunk 2077
Here is the deal – we have been looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077. The developer of the game is CD Projekt Red, which created the famous Witcher series. That is why we know the release is only taking so long because they were looking for the perfect formula to make the game appealing.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a spin-off of the RPG board game Cyberpunk 2020. It promises to be an amazing single and multiplayer experience. The release date should be during the spring, but you never know with this game.
4. Marvel’s Avengers
You’ve seen the movies, and now it’s time for Marvel’s Avengers to reach your PCs and consoles. The trailers indicate that we can play as the Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Iron Man, or Captain America. No, this release won’t be a fighting game, at least not one like Mortal Kombat.
The developers explain that Marvel’s Avengers will remind of The Division or Destiny. That means you will be playing (umm, grinding) online with friends or solo, and get the chance to upgrade your characters and earn cosmetic and other improvements.
5. Avatar
Although it has been several years after its initial release, Avatar is still the movie that tops the list of box office earnings. The sequel is set for December 2020, and that will probably be when we will get to play the Avatar game created by Ubisoft.
We don’t know a lot about the release for now. It will use the company’s new Snowdrop Engine, and it won’t follow the events in the movie to the smallest detail. Instead, it will feature an original story set in familiar settings.
6. Halo Infinite
Microsoft is getting ready to release a new console, and Halo Infinite will probably show in time for the release. We only have a single trailer so far, but you know that Halo offers compelling stories and exciting multiplayer campaigns.
Although we will get to play it on PC and Xbox One, Microsoft also announced Halo Infinite for its new Scarlett console, which means this will be a great game to see all capabilities of that device.
7. Diablo 4
We have a sweet spot for sequels, and Diablo 4 is a game that we’ve been waiting for decades. Some controversy followed the initial announcement, but it seems that Blizzard listened to the fans, and the new Diablo will be a great game.
We can expect a dark atmosphere and stunning graphics, but also a shared open world and PvP modes, which put a new twist on the familiar franchise.
