A Dying Light Update Brings PC Crossplay and a Launch Discount Comes from Epic Games

Dying Light

Dying Light 2 has only just come out recently, but already Dying Light 1 is making headlines with news of a new crossplay update. With coordination from Epic’s Online Services Solution, all PC players are now able to survive the streets of Harran together. This goes into effect with Epic, Steam, GoG, Windows, Mac OS, and Linux systems.

There are now two discounts available for PC players through the Epic Games Store. Dying Light Enhanced Edition gives you a 60% discount while the Platinum Edition gives you a 70% discount. This is available now through March 7 at 7 am PT / 4 pm CET. You can find the game here.

I feel like Techland is firing on all cylinders with this update. Being able to crossplay with different PC players and friends is one of the best feelings in titles nowadays. Playing Dying Light solo has always been fun, but this addition lets us finally play with our friends as other companies are doing more and more of it.
