Playtonic Friends has just announced A Little Golf Journey, a gorgeous indie experience designed to chill out your day on the green.
Revealed as the latest title to join the Playtonic Friends label, the publishing brand spun off from UK developer Playtonic, A Little Golf Journey is a soothing golf adventure. Due to land on PC, via Steam, and Nintendo Switch later this year, this new sporting sim ditches the competitive multiplayer battle royales and make the whole endeavor a sight more chilled.
A stripped back experience, a Little Golf Adventure is about the journey rather than the end result. Players picking up their irons will explore diverse destinations, uncover each course’s secrets and tee off on the most relaxing round you’ve ever experienced. Desert locations, ancient castles, and floral gardens are a few of the backdrops that will hopefully soothe your way through the day as you move a small white ball across a multitude of environments. Plenty of secrets also lie in wait, oh and did we mention there’s a course on the Moon?
Gavin Price, CEO of Playtonic, added “After a year of nothing but home schooling, video calls and hardly leaving the house, the idea of not a round of golf instantly grabbed the Playtonic Friends team and we knew we wanted to help the guys at Okidokico make their next vision a reality. A Little Golf Journey is the anti Souls-like; there’s no pressure or frustration, just a pure, relaxed experience which is as deep as the player wants it to be.”
If you’re not entirely sure how this could possibly differ from What the Golf? or Golf Impact then check out the trailer above to wind into your day. A Little Golf Adventure will bounce onto PC and Switch later this summer. For now you can fid out more over at the official Steam Store page.
