Developer Asobo Studios and publisher Focus Entertainment have revealed the official release date of A Plague Tale: Requiem. The sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence arrives on October 18. To mark this special occasion, the team also shared an extended look at the gameplay during the Focus Showcase and opened the pre-orders on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
The 12-minutes long footage lets players take a look at everyone’s favorite siblings: Amicia and Hugo. Having escaped their devastated homeland, the siblings travel far south to the new regions and vibrant cities to start a new life and control Hugo’s curse.
“In this new extended gameplay sequence, follow Amicia and Hugo as they make their way through a massive ochre-red quarry overwhelmed with soldiers eager to capture them. Fortunately, the duo has many new tricks up their sleeve and doesn’t shy away from getting their hands dirty. Watch how it all plays out and get ready to embark on their heart-rending journey into a brutal, breathtaking world, and discover the cost of saving those you love in a desperate struggle for survival.”
The developers have also announced the Collector’s Edition of A Plague Tale: Requiem, including an incredible statue of Amicia and Hugo and a number of other interesting goodies. Check out the official site to learn more about it.
