Fans eagerly awaiting The Smurfs—Dreams’ October 24th release date will be happy to note that a new multiplatform demo has dropped. Between now and launch day, players can get a taste of what the smurfalicious 3D platforming game offers on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Developers have sent out a new trailer specific to the demo. Viewers will get a look at some of the action they’ll encounter while playing a small slice of the game.
The team also revealed news about the upcoming preorders for the Digital Deluxe Edition coming to Steam, GoG, and EGS. It includes a Thief Skin, digital artbook, and the game’s digital soundtrack.
Fans of the animated series will immediately recognize the game’s antagonist, Gargamel, who has devised a nefarious plan to capture our little blue friends. He’s cast a spell on the sarsaparilla bushes that has put everyone to sleep. Players will need to wake all the Smurfs before Gargamel reaches their village. According to developers, the game is “as thrilling as it is unexpected.”
