A Stunning New Neverness to Everness Gameplay Trailer Just Hit The Streets

Get on the Esper Cycle and check out the latest Neverness to Everness gameplay trailer.

Head to Hethereau and check out the newest trailer for the extraordinary looking RPG from Hotta Studio. The outfit behind Tower of Fantasy stunned the gacha gaming populace when it announced its upcoming title earlier in the year, but now we all get to see what’s waiting for us in this new adventure.

Taking plenty of anime styled inspiration but blowing it up into a whole new realm of exploration, Neverness to Everness is a bold leap into a massive cityscape where the humdrum and the paranormal sit side by side. Sidewalks teeming with anomalies provide an opportunity to use some unique Esper abilities to navigate these rifts.

The new trailer steps out onto ground level and shows off exploration, on foot and in motorcars. A range of characters take the trailer to weave in between the city’s pedestrian population and walk thorough subway cars, delving into portals that change the very perception reality. Verdant forests, corrupted streets, and more all seem to open up, with danger not far away. This also takes a moment to showcase combat, using a four character party system, with a limited action set of standard attacks and a pair of extra powerful abilities. That all sounds pretty standard for the current industry format.
Look a little closer, and the boss fight shown on screen also demonstrates the game’s Esper Cycle. Players can use skills and combos to attack enemies, infusing them with their character’s specific attributes. When two adjacent attributes from the cycle combine, they trigger a powerful synergy known as the Esper Cycle, unlocking new combat possibilities.

It’s all incredibly flashy, but I still have to ask why we’re going to fight actual walking trashcans. Is there a joke I’m missing? Check out more, after watching the new Neverness to Everness gameplay trailer, on the official website.
