Nodbrim Interactive sent out a word that their Medieval Steampunk turn-based RPG Acaratus is now out in Steam. The game features a deep tactical combat system with customizable battle suits. Players can also expect to find elaborate item and unit customization, PvP battle as well as a rich narrative story. All together it mixes into a unique medieval steampunk setting that will challenge players. The developers describe it as “mashup inspired by Heroes of Might and Magic and Hearthstone”.
Martin Kupski, Creative Director at Nodbrim Interactive, spoke about Acaratus:
Acaratus has been significantly updated since the first Early Access build as we tweaked the battle system, created a three-act deep narrative story for the campaign mode and balanced the whole game, including the multiplayer mode to help new players kick off the game easier. We’ve also added a lot more customizable content from an array of weapons to multiple types of booster cards, so there’s enough variety to execute even the most intricate strategies.
The game features both single-player as well as multiplayer modes. Players can construct their own mecha units and decide between ranged, melee, defensive or booster parts. The game offers weapons ranging from war hammers to ranged projectile-based weapons such as cannons. The game is available on Steam for $14.99.
