Back in 2013, a married couple from California founded a pet waste removal company aptly named Call of DooDee. It is unclear what has caused the reaction, but Activision seems unhappy at the name and has requested an extension of the amount of time they have to oppose the patent. Previously the publisher of Call of Duty had until the end of November to register their opposition, but the new deadline is set for the end of the year.
Additionally, it is worth noting that the family-run company doesn’t use any of Activision’s logos or other assets. The site’s design doesn’t resemble that of the gaming series in any way, shape or form.
