Wildfrost physical editions are due to arrive on Nintendo Switch from 12 September.
Super Rare Games teams up with Deadpan Games, Gaziter & Chucklefish to bring the cutest sword and snowcery deck builder to shelves this week. On 12 September, Wildfrost will get a physical release for the Nintendo Switch. The quest to bring back the sun might have first arrived back in 2023, but now there’s a chance to bring the adventure home with a standard or deluxe edition.
Wildfrost is a roughish card battler set in a frosty environment. In this scenario, the environment has succumbed to a wintery mess. Now, only Snowdwell and its survivors stand as the last bastion against an endless frost. Pick up your snowshoes and embark on a quest through a range of environment, hordes of enemies, and build a deck with lots of new friends. Collect companions, ready to take down waves of cute but deadly Pengoons, Gobblers, and more. Add trinkets, upgrade cards, and come back to tackle the chilly overworld again.
This utterly adorable quest comes to stores for £36.99 or local equivalent. The Standard Edition includes the base cartridge, a set of real-world trading cards, a full color manual, and a sticker set. The Collector’s Edition add in Switch Joy-Con Thumb Grips, a Wooden Jangly Charm, a Noomlin Bookmark, a cool fridge magnet, the Wildfrost soundtrack on CD, and an exclusive set of postcards. Costing £67.20 or local equivalent and with only 1000 of these special sets available, you might need to be quick.
If you don’t have a Nintendo Switch, Wildfrost is already available across PC, mobile, and console. If you want to have a look at the Wildfrost physical set, then head over to the Super Rare Games stie where you’ll find cased copies of everything from Grime to the whole Monster Prom anthology.
