Bluehole Will Deal With AFK Gamers in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

Bluehole Studio is definitely on the problem of AFK players in its project, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The game’s producer Chang-Han Kim had an interview with PC Gamer and noted that some players prefer to connect to the match and do nothing and / or quickly die to get in-game currency without contributing anything to the match.

We do want to create a tool or vehicle to prevent AFKers from just trying to earn BP and not actually play the game. It could be us adjusting the balance of BPs being earned, or – just from a structure point of view – preventing AFKs as a whole. We haven’t fully decided on a direction yet, but it’s something we will definitely addressing.

You kind find out more about the game on its Steam page.
