After nearly 12 years in early access, 7 Days to Die will finally launch its 1.0 version sometime in June, though the precise date remains unknown. The Fun Pimps have, however, published a robust roadmap and FAQ about the transition from early access to retail launch, including a peek ahead at new content coming through the end of 2025.
The big announcement came alongside a new trailer that details what will happen between now and launch day.
The team has indicated that it is finally satisfied with the product coming to full retail release citing over 20 significant updates since early access began.
Steam ratings indicate that 7 Days to Die is very popular with players. Over the years, it has amassed over 210,000 “Very Positive” review, with over 4,000 of those come in the very recent past.
