Afterimage is a hand-drawn 2D side-scrolling metroidvania from developer Aurogon Shanghai. The game has successfully met the goal of its Kickstarter campaign. The team was looking to raise $15k but ended up receiving over six times the funding thanks to over two thousands backers.
In Afterimage, players will be able to traverse a fantasy world with a variety of unique locations: gigantic volcanoes, steep canyons, deep seas and a tower that soars into the clouds. On this journey, there will also be fantastic creatures such as the giant beasts wandering in fire, spirits lurking in labyrinths and more.
