The developers of RTS Age of Empires IV have started the Season Two: Map Monsters, bringing with it exciting new content, new ways to customize gameplay, a plethora of features and more.
The event will be running through October 24 and will be split into various rounds. The first round has already started and will be running for two weeks, so don’t miss out!
Season Two brought along remappable hotkeys, map preference system, player color picker, new map: The Pit, fully unlocked campaigns and more. The Ranked Season Two will kick off on Thursday, July 14. Are you ready to become Conqueror?
Season Two events include:
- Age of Discovery, July 12 – July 26;
- By Stars and Sea, August 9 – August 23;
- Wonders of the Deep, September 7 – September 21;
- Modern Monsters, October 4 – October 18.
Previously, the developers have shared the roadmap for the future seasons. From it, we learned that Season Three will be introducing the first iteration of Team Ranked and explore other meaningful changes to the Ranked based on the player feedback. The third season will also be introducing two features that players have been asking for a while: Taunts & Cheats, heavily inspired by previous Age titles.
