Ghost Recon Breakpoint players who are invested in taking on the game solo but who may need a bit of help from time to time will be able to do exactly that thanks to the arrival of AI teammates as part of the 2.1.0 patch. The update is expected to be deployed to the game later this morning.
The addition of AI teammates to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will offer new possibilities for solo players, who will be able to activate or deactivate them via the menu at any time, depending on whether they prefer to be backed up by their squad or play as a lone-wolf operator.
AI companions will be accessible to players at any time via the menu. This allows players to forge ahead on their own but if they get into a tough spot against a boss or if they’re trying to take a fortified location, they can bring along a few friends to spread out the battle.
Players will be able to customize a number of things for their AI companions including:
- issue orders and execute them
- use sync shot
- revive one another
- customize physical attributes and gear
- choose each companion’s main weapon
The update also brings a number of other features into the game:
- Ghost War PvP observer mode
- Ghost War PvP item drop functionality
- community-suggested quality of life improvements
- enhancements to the Gunsmith
