The developers of MMORPG Albion Online have shared a new blog post on the official site to reveal that the game will be having live testing for controller support and Steam Deck beginning on March 2nd.
The introduction of controller support marks a new large milestone for the game and brings it that much closer to the team’s vision of providing as many platforms and players as possible with an opportunity to enjoy Albion Online. The developers will continue iterating and optimizing this feature in anticipation of a full controller support release.
“Once testing begins, compatible controllers will be usable on all desktop versions of the game and can be activated during this first phase via chat commands. (Those playing via the Steam client on Steam Deck will be able to use the device controllers by default.)”
