Alien: Rogue Incursion Claws Its Way Onto VR Headsets Today

Alien: Rogue Incursion brings the fear to VR today, launching on SteamVR and PSVR platforms.

VR development studio Survios bring fear right up into your eyeballs today with the release of VR Alien spin off Rogue Incursion. PSVR2 or Steam VR compatible headsets can plug in today and take on an iconic enemy, while Meta Quest owners will have a little wait to join the carnage.

Answer a call for help and follow ex Colonial marine Zula Hendridcks and her synthetic companion into the snow and down into an outpost under attack. Wade through the wreckage of a terrible accident and navigate the blood-soaked corridors of an isolated base to find your contact. Extraction isn’t the only aim here. Survival is key. Pack an iconic Pulse Rifle among other implements to unlock your path and prepare for the galaxy’s most lethal organism to hunt your down.

Initially announced earlier in 2024, this new interactive spin off in the Alien series comes almost ten years after Alien Isolation introduced gamers to Amanda Ripley. Now we’re set to follow another fierce protagonist in the expanded universe. For fans of the franchise, it’s an unexpected treat. For the rest of us, it’s likely going to be a fantastic introduction to everything Alien. Rogue Incursion is just the first part of a multi game arc, delving into the GES facility on LV-354, on the enigmatic planet Purdan. Fight, think, and unlock he secrets of this facility with extreme prejudice and try not to end up in a one on one with a face hugger. Players who manage to sneak in a pre order ahead of today’s launch might even still grab the Alien: Romulus inspired armor skin and weapon skins or the Blue Camo weapon and armor skins before the shooting starts. Check out more about Alien: Rogue Incursion on the official website or tremble in fear at our glowing review. Players can pick up a copy on the Steam Store or PlayStation platforms for $39.99 / £33.50 or local equivalent right now.

Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
