Alien: Rogue Incursion is a Festive Terror Set For 19 December Release

Alien: Rogue Incursion is about to make the festive season terrifying when it arrives across PlayStation VR2, PCVR via Steam, and Meta Quest 3.

Check out the chilling new trailer for the latest instalment in the iconic Alien series. Hot off the new Romulus movie, players can immerse themselves in their doom when Alien: Rogue Incursion launches later this year. Developer Survios confirmed that we only have to wait until 19 December before we can head planet side and shoot up some Xenomorphs. The release date also gives us a new trailer, giving us a glimpse of Zula Hendricks. Fans of the wider Alien universe might recognise this unexpected alien hunter, The fearless ex-Colonial Marine turned ultimate Xenomorph hunter is an established character in wider canon and spend the majority of this teaser blowing her way through a Xenomorph infestation. While she also seems to come to an untimely demise, that isn’t likely to stop acid boiling over the screen when players wade through what awaits.

The addition to the story trailer, there’s a closer look at the weapons and gear that you’ll user. The second trailer includes a motion tracker for seeing swarms as they arrive, a pistol, shotgun, and iconic M41 Pulse Rifle. While all these tailers are generally indicative, and not final, they’re a feel for the kind of game we can expect.

Fans who pre-order any edition of Alien: Rogue Incursion will receive an exclusive, pre-order only gift – a cosmetic weapon and armor skin inspired by Alien Romulus for free upon release. Check out the website to find out more about both the Standard Edition (SRP $39.99) and the Deluxe Edition (SRP $49.99), which comes with cosmetic Blue Camo weapon and armor skins, with further details to come. Me, I’m just going to sit tight and see if I get back from this weekend’s release of Alien Romulus in one piece.
