Welcome to this year’s PC Gaming Show Conference coverage for Gamespace.com. We will go over the lengthy list of about 30 games that were shown with details for most, web links to these games, and release dates where possible. Join me as we explore these new and upcoming games for PC.
Here is our list of what we know for each game.
Satisfactory by Coffee Stain Studios
This is an open world first-person shooter where you have to build giant automated factories from resources you find around the world. You are an engineer from Earth and you get to explore the world map. The world map is 30 square kilometres. You can find out more details about the game on the official site.
Satisfactory is an FPS open-world factory building sim. You play as an engineer on an alien planet as part of the ‘Save The Day’ program – a program whose goal is to construct a massive machine for a mysterious purpose. Conquer nature, build multi-story factories, and automate to satisfaction!
Neo Cab
Cartoon art style, you are a human driving people around in a cab. Stay on the road, stay on the search to avoid becoming something other than human. Check out the official site!
Mavericks Proving Grounds – Automaton games.
Here we have a battle royale like none you have seen so far. This one has 1000 people in the game at any one time. Will you survive?

The Forgotten City
FPS, portal that allows you to go into the past. You have to set the errors that were made correct and save the future in the past. “The Many shall suffer for the sins of the one.” This game was originally a mod for Skyrim and now it is its own game. Coming out in 2019.
Star Control: Origins – Stardock
Open Universe Action RPG, explore thousands of planets jumping canyons and fighting alien life forms, Space battles. Story is funny and creative with some darkness. Infinite universe simulated at all times. Life is still reacting around you. Will have modding available. Multiplayer available with ship to ship combat. Fleet Battles. Local MP on same machine, or online ranked. Sept 20 2018 launch date.
Hunt: Showdown
Crytek – Vintage weapons, hand crossbow, throwing knives, hunting rifles, creatures and zombie type creatures all over in the swamps. Check out the official site.
Archangel: Hellfire – Skydance Interactive
This game is a VR player vs player game with mechs. There are multiple mechs and lots of weapons to bring the pain in this game. With all new destructible maps bring the pain to your opponents. This game releases July 17, 2018 on Steam, PlayStation VR, and Oculus Rift.
The Sinking City – Frogwares Games
Open world 3rd person action investigation game. No handholding for the game, you have to investigate what you need to do. Finding hints and clues and suspects to interrogate, “finding the clues will help you understand what’s going on.” Lovecraftian mystery at its finest, including the sanity mechanic.
Warframe – Sacrifice Launch Trailer

Sega’s games Shenmue, Shenmue 2, Shining Resonance Refrain, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Zero, and Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be out on PC.
Killing Floor 2

Maneater – Blindside Games
Play as the shark, open-world action RPG. “As we like to call it sharkpg” single-player campaign. You will be able to take control of the shark and go hunting this time.

Insomniac – Open World VR Game Stormland
You play as a robot character in this virtual reality world. You can heal yourself as you go by attaching new pieces directly to your robot body. Releasing on Oculus Rift.

Rawfury – Night Call
Set in Paris and you are a cabby.
Sable
Sable is a coming-of-age tale of discovery through exploration across a strikingly rendered open world desert. Go on a deeply personal journey across an alien planet while learning its history and discovering Sable’s place in the world. Coming 2019 to PC and console. This is Sable. Created by Gregorios Kythreotis and Daniel Fineberg from a studio they’ve founded called Shedworks. Original soundtrack (including the song for the trailer) composed by experimental pop artist Michelle Zauner of Japanese Breakfast. Narrative crafted by the talented Meg Jayanth. Sound design from Independent Games Festival award-winning audio designer Martin Kvale. Animation by brilliant newcomer Micah Holland.

This is rogue-like with magic and a procedurally-generated world. It also features beautiful sprite-based graphics with a retro feel to it.
