Amazon Drops Price on 2 TB Seagate FireCuda Drive

Fast drive for dirty cheap.

Summer is rounding the corner and spring cleaning is making its way for what is to come: the grand and glorying summer gaming sales! But what if you didn’t have to clear out Fallout 4, The Witcher 3, or any other colossally, MMO-sized games to make room?

Well, you may not have to.

Our keen eyed friends over at PC Gamer caught on to Amazon’s price reduction of the Seagate FireCuda 2 TB SSHD from $94.99 to $79.99.

In case you aren’t familiar with it, the Seagate FireCuda is a 2.5 inch storage drive that marries the high storage capacity of a physical hard disk drive (HDD) with the speed enhancement of solid state drive (SSD). While the drive doesn’t perform at the same level as a standard SSD, it does boast speeds of up to five times faster than the average HDD, making it the ideal solution for gamers looking to store an extensive game library or gameplay capture.

If you are in the market for PC building parts or are interested in adding a little more room to your existing system, grabbing one of these may be your smartest solution for extra space. You can check it out here.
