Amazon Games is priming the hype for Lost Ark by releasing a five-minute-long trailer called “Welcome to Arkesia”. Viewers will get a first-hand peek at some of the game’s main features including character customization, dungeons, sailing, PvP, and general combat.
While the free-to-play MMORPG is set for release in the west in mid-February, it’s been out in Korea since 2018. It’s been a long, difficult journey to bring the game to the west and significant changes have been made to the original version to make it better suited to western gamers. As a F2P title, there will not be a subscription to play and there will be an in-game shop with convenience items for players willing to pony up the cash. For those looking for a few in-game goodies when LA launches, Founders Packs are available to purchase on Steam and range in price from $14.99 to $99.99.
