This is only the start of the loot drops, and is set to continue running throughout 2023, giving players who might have grabbed free games and other in game boosts to continue getting extra value from their ongoing subscription. This new also means that anybody watching League of Legends Esports, Teamfight Tactics, and VALORANT Esports are going to see Amazon’s branding all over the broadcast, as well as other ongoing drops.
“We’re thrilled to continue our successful promotion with Riot Games,” said Josh Dodson, Director of Prime Gaming. “It’s clear to us that Prime Gaming members deeply value the regular content for several of Riot’s biggest and most popular games that we’ve offered to date. We’re excited to build on this success and continue delivering incredible value for Prime Gaming members and Riot fans.”
Poor Timing
While more free goodies would normally be fantastic news, the on-stream Amazon branding might only serve as a reminder that this cloud giant are eager for all eyes on it while laying off staff on Twitch. Twitch, yet another part of the team purple conglomerate, just laid off 400 staffers due to current user and revenue growth issues.
Still, free is free. You can check out what’s on offer on the Prime Gaming Vault now.
