Coming from developer Microids, Amerzone: The Explorer’s Legacy is a remake of the cult classic, arriving later in 2024. The game just received the story trailer that you can find above. It gives the outline of the story of Alexandre Valembois and his friend Antonio Álvarez as well as the mysterious land of Amerzone.
“The Amerzone…That mysterious land is both the source of my greatest joys… and my deepest disgrace.”
This sentence full of regrets, whispered by the explorer Valembois, will lead you on a deep initiatory quest, dotted with discoveries, encounters and secrets… Set off on a quest for the Great White Birds, travel to a forgotten Latin American country to fulfill the last wishes of a late explorer.
Set off in search of the Great White Birds in a mysterious land full of secrets when Amerzone – The Explorer’s Legacy lands on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC in the end of 2024. The events of the game take place in the same universe as Syberia and its sequel Syberia 2.
