We finally have a release date for Nintendo’s Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. It’s heading to your phone on November 22nd. This is a worldwide release, so everyone will be able to get in on the action.
Animal Crossing Pocket Camp
Here’s our earlier coverage of the announced features:
As the name implies, you’ll spend most of your time hanging out with a bunch of furry critters. You’ll be able to interact with your companions, craft furniture and gather resources to keep your campsite in ship shape.
Oh, did we forget to mention that all the action takes place in a camper van? Yes, that’s right — you’ll be spending your time on the road. It’s sort of appropriate for a mobile game, don’t you think?
Anyway, you’ll have a ton of features to work with including a customized avatar, be able to participate in “arts and crafts”, earn friendship with your fuzzies and much more. In addition, you’ll be able to either buy or earn Leaf Tickets in game. This is the premium currency needed for special items such as being able to shorten crafting time or buying special furniture.
Other features include:
- BHFF – play with “best human friends forever”, i.e. your real life friends
- a “normal” day-night cycle that changes as your day does
- a large area map with lots of different environments
- market place
- customized camper van
