Antigraviator: Fast Pace and Brilliant

Antigraviator is a racing game set in a futuristic scene where major advancements have been made as anti-gravity and terraforming has brought out a new twist, the tracks are no longer bound by normal limitations and not only do you need to battle it out with your opponents but the gravity itself. Playing games like Zero-G I was ready to take the controls on this one.

The history of the race is simple! Who will cross the finish line first? Antigraviator is a new take on a similar genre with fast pace courses, and a quick reaction time in order to avoid the onslaught of your competitions traps and relentless need to win. Overall each course has its own learning curve but with some time that is easy to overcome and soon you will be able to win each race as long as you can predict the track and avoid the traps set by the other players/Bots. The game features both a single-player mode as well as a multiplayer mode that supports up to eight players.

Game controls are easy to follow as the developer ensured that just about every gamepad will work. Xbox360, Steam link controller where heavily tested and performed perfectly with little to no adjustment required.

Antigraviator offers several customization options from different ships(Gravs) and skins. You can choose from preloaded skins you have to unlock or create or own color scheme using colors and decals. Additionally, you can change various aspects separately such as the wing, plating, trans and grav.

During the campaign, you will be able to unlock new parts, ships and skins as you win.  This will go hand in hand with the customizations available to you.

Playing this game brings me back to a better time in my life when game music was just plain awesome. The atmosphere when playing is wonderful and the sounds are crisp and clear. The Audio makes me feel like I am back playing in an arcade but in the future. Each level has its own soundtrack and the FX balance is spot on. Good Headphones or speakers are highly suggested while playing.

Note: Our review was done on PC with a code provided by the developer.

The game is visually appealing and offers you the ability to just pick up and play without much need for overly complicated things. Antigraviator offers a nostalgic gameplay with updating graphics and keeps to what games should be, Good Old Fashioned fun.
  • Good Great Visuals with 4K Support
  • Easy to pick up and play
