AOC Accelerate Your Gaming With 240Hz AGON PRO AG274QZM Display

AGON PRO AG274QZM Display

AGON, the top tier line up from monitor manufacturer AOC just shifted gear with a ridiculously fast new 240Hz gaming monitor, the AGON PRO AG274QZM.

While AOC can offer speedy desktop displays for a very particular budget, the AGON PRO AG274QZM is all about speed without compromise. Due to hit store shelves in June 2022 for a premium of £999.99 or local equivalent, this new display is set to offer a gorgeous miniLED backpanel, a blistering 240Hz refresh rate, and an impressive HDR1000 certification.

The 27 inch gaming grade monitor manages this HDR certification thanks to miniLED backlighting. Incorporating a total of 576 dimming zones into the heart of this device means that the monitor can max out at a peak 1200 nits brightness and should manage a very intricate mix of hazy sunshine and deep nuanced blacks at QHD resolution (2560×1440) .

The AG274QZM is not all about color recreation. While we’ve always found impressive picture quality in the AGON PRO range, this addition also crams in a speedy 240Hz refresh rate, meaning movement should always keep up with even the most powerful graphics cards. This is enhanced by on board Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, and a 1ms GtG response time.

Add in a USB-C connectivity, with 65 W power delivery to charge and power connected laptops, 4x USB 3.2 ports, an on board KVM switch, and some jazzed up AOC RGB lighting and this looks like an unbeatable offering. We will be taking a look as soon as we can, until then check out the official website ahead of the full launch later this year.
