AOC has just announced that the acclaimed G2 series of gaming monitors is set to get even faster, now pushing framerates of 165Hz.
If you want plenty of performance without splashing out on something like the incrediible League of Legends inspired AG275QXL then there is another option. AOC has confirmed that the G2 monitor series now includes an additional 4 displays. The 24G2SPU, 27G2SPU, 24G2SPAE and the 27G2SPAE monitors join the G2 line up, each with their own variation on a successful series.
If you’re looking for a new monitor right away then the 24G2SPU is due to hit store shelves this month, while the 27G2SPU will be available to buy during April. As you might have guessed, the 27G2SPU is the larger of these two. Coming in at 27 inches. Both models are backed by an IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 resolution and are as fast as you’d imagine, with a 1ms GtG time. The added bonus of adaptive synch means that these two monitors should match your moves perfectly on the battlefield of sports stadium. They also add a fully adjustable stand, integrated 2W speakers, and 4 x USB 3.2 ports. Both these replace the 24G2U and 24G2U displays and will be here imminently.
If you’re looking for second display that doesn’t need all the added extras, but still gives a solid picture, then the upcoming 24G2SPAE and 27G2SPAE are the new replacements for the 24G2SPU and 27G2SPU. These paired back panels still pack an IPS display, a 1920 x 1080 resolution, and equivalent performance to the displays above.
Of course, all of the new displays can run your gaming needs up to an esports ready 165Hz. For anybody already decided, the 24G2SPU and 27G2SPU are already available from late March/April 2022 at the RRPs of £199.99and £245.99 respectively.
