Fans of Titanfall 2 will be interested to hear that one of the game’s most recognizable heroes is making her way into Apex Legends. According to Respawn Entertainment, Ash, a simulacrum pilot, will be heading to the game beginning November 2, 2021 as part of the next update.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a lot of information yet about Ash’s abilities and what she will bring to the game. While there are doubtless hints from her gameplay kit in Titanfall 2, it still remains unknown what she will bring to AL. It’s possible that, because she still has a human brain, she will bring the formidable abilities of a robot along with the thinking side of who she once was as Dr. Ashleigh Reid. Developers have stated that more will be revealed in the days leading up to her arrival in the game.
Ash is part of the Escape update that will, according to Respawn, add “a variety of new game-changing updates that will shake up the competition”. Escape will be launching across all of the game’s platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Origin and Steam.
