Apex Legends, the high flying arena shooter from EA, just confirmed a mobile version is set to launch later this month.
Thanks to the Apex Legends social media team, we now know that an on the go version of EA and Respawn’s fast paced hero shooter is imminent. In a post just yesterday, we got confirmation that players on iOS and Android will have the opportunity to drop in and out as they like, to shoot up opponents and experience the chaos of an ever smaller combat ring without being tied to a controller.

Now we know that Apex Legends new mobile game will launch sometime in April, players can pre-register over on the Google Play Store and sign up for iOS notifications, to get ahead of the game. Pre-registration doesn’t guarantee early entry into the battle, but there are sign up rewards on offer. This includes banners, character poses, skins, and more. Anybody picking up Apex on this new platform will find a new iteration of the established shooter just for mobiles. While players will find a whole host of familiar characters and memorable backdrops, this version of the loot and shoot title will not have console or PC cross play during the big launch of Apex Legends: Saviours. Instead, eager competitors will be able to pick from a diverse range of outlandish heroes, all with their own unique abilities, and equip a set of weapons based on whatever is available at the time. The same team based mix of strategic play and FPS action will be in play, but without the need to complete against a mouse and keyboard.
You can head over to the official Apex Legends Mobile stie now to check out what’s coming up.
