Following the release of Arcane: Bridging the Rift Part 1, developer Riot Games shared the second video in the series titled “Persistence (Or When Your Best Still Sucks)”. While the first video explored the process behind creating the dream that is Arcane, the second video jumps right into the grittier parts of the production. The course of art never did run smooth.
Part 2 allows viewers to meet some of the folks who helped pull Arcane through its darkest days. By watching the video above, you might be surprised how close to total collapse Arcane’s production was through the years – and yet the team behind it pulled through, no matter what, by sheer persistence.
