Gamigo has announced the opening of the public test server for ArcheAge: Unchained. The PTS offers players a sneak peek at how the upcoming “pay to play” release of the game differs from its free-to-play counterpart.
Players will be able to try out a number of new features including:
- the new Swiftblade class
- updated graphics
- the Shadows Revealed content update
In addition, the ArchePass system is available for a first-look. Every three months, players will be able to take part in a series of new “ArchePass” events along three different gameplay styles: Combat, Vocation, or Equipment. All players progressing through these monthlong journeys can earn power items and Diligence Coins. A premium version paid for with real-world money features cosmetic items, costumes, dye tickets, and more. Developers wrote that “this premium track will be the best way to acquire additional cosmetic items”.
Those interested in pre-ordering the game can do so. There are three available packages, each with its own set of in-game perks and items. Packages run $25.99, $49.99, and $79.99.
ArcheAge: Unchained is scheduled for launch on October 15th. You can learn more on the game’s official site.
What makes ArcheAge: Unchained different?
The new ArcheAge: Unchained makes the whole, diverse world of the original ArcheAge available to everybody. Without powerful premium content, the game offers an equal playing field for every style of player. Power and progression are limited only by your own ambitions.
