ArcheWorld MMO Prepares For Pre-registration and a Blockchain Land Grab

ArcheWorld

ArcheWorld, the latest entry in the Archeage series of MMOs has just opened pre-registration in North America, and blockchain is likely to make land grabs here a whole lot different.

You might remember the launch, relaunch, restart, and return of Archeage, an MMO and the land grab that came with each return to this MMORPG. Well, ArcheWorld is set to raise those stakes even higher b introducing blockchain based Tokenomnics to this big budget MMORPG, and you can stake a claim now. Pre-registration has opened for this upcoming iteration on the well known series, with a full launch happening on 20 April 2023.

Before ArcheWorld even launches , XLGames has confirmed that players can participate in the pre-registration event and open Land NFT minting on www.archeworld.com. This pre launch land ush is already ongoing and runs up until 19 April. The team behind this concept has introduced a wallet system that ties easily to social media accounts and certainly has a clear and defined use.

Jake Song, CEO of XLGames said, “ArcheWorld is trying to acknowledge user’s enjoyment of the game as an asset. ArcheWorld will do its best to break negative stereotypes people have of blockchain games.”

The Game World

XL hasn’t added much detail to new outlets beyond its blockchain intentions. Worringly, and from what we can tell, this new title seems to largely be a republished copy of previous Archeage titles. Despite this, fans of the series may see an obvious case to re roll. Before you do that, however, you’ll need to navigate the complexities of crypto gaming, put real money down, avoid the crypto scammers and re roll again, just without the rush to grab land in game.

While I’m not putting down XL’s attempt to try something new, it’s yet to be seen if this spin off is more about cashing in than providing a new sandbox for fans of Archeage. You can check out more about ArcheWorld on the official website now.
