Players will also get a chance to check out the just-launched Scorched Earth expansion map. This is a free download for all ASA owners and offers tons of new content, including six desert-themed biomes packed with new creatures. Players will encounter Deathworms and the “ultimate desert steed: The Falolasuchus.”
Bob’s Tall Tales
In addition to the above, players can also get a peek at the Bob’s Tall Tales expansion that adds new gameplay opportunities to each main map. Players will meet the “legendary” Bob “who shares his absolutely pivotal, undeniably central role in ARK’ history to Meeka.” As the stories unfold, players will learn about Bob’s adventures throughout The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration, and Extinction.” Players will get up close and personal with the Oasisaur and Trains while on Scorched Earth. Later, more will arrive in Aberration and Extinction.
Throughout the coming days, players can unlock ARK: The Animated Series costumes by searching for “Dear Jane” notes throughout the map. These will unlock some of the show’s iconic looks from Helena, Bob, Dodo, and Scary the Parasaur.
