Assassin’s Creed: Origins’ release date is approaching rapidly, and Ubisoft has detailed what can be expected from the Day One Update. The patch will focus on fine-tuning the balance of the game, improving its performance and stability and reworking the photo mode controls for players to enhance its comfort.
Ubisoft is encouraging players to download and install the patch for the best experience and is giving some tips on how to make sure that everything’s ready beforehand:
- If you purchased a digital version of the game, the Day One update will be automatically downloaded and installed along with the main game.
- If you purchased a disc copy of the game for Xbox or PlayStation, you might have to check if the game is up-to-date (1.02 version), and if it’s not the case to accept the download and installation of the Day One Update.
- If you purchased a disc copy of the game for PC, the Day One Update will be downloaded and installed along with the game executable.
When launching the game, players will have the option to download and install separate language packs of their choice available in their regions. Each pack is approximately 500 MB.
You can find the information on the additional language packs as well as pre-load and playable times on the official site. The game will launch October 27 for Xbox One, PS4 as well as PC.
