Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Set’s Sail With New River Raid Update

Assassin's Creed Valhalla River Raid

It looks like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is getting a new River Raid update with plenty of extra content to conquer back in ye olde England.

If you thought you were done with one of the biggest games of last year then pick up that shield and prepare to jump into battle. Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the latest foray into the past for the long-standing RPG series, is getting a new update today that will give players plenty more to do.

More Adventure

The headline entry in the new update is River Raids, allowing a player to head out and explore previously unearthed parts of England. While raiding is already an essential part of this Viking adventure, River Raids provide plenty of new opportunities to loot for new rewards and experience new challenges. We haven’t been given specific details on the content yet but hopefully, the thought of new and shiny caches is enough to entice any nordic warrior. In addition to the obvious rewards, the latest update will also give raiding parties some new options, with three new abilities.: Battle Cry, Berserker Trap, and Shoulder Bash While the Berserker Trap is attached to arrows and spreads a hallucinogenic property, the Battle Cry option provides a strong boost that should ensure you overcome any odds. Finally, the Shoulder Bash ability is exactly what you might expect, a shoulder bash.

This new addition hits Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as a follow up to the recent Yuletide update and festivities. The latest patch number 1.1.2 includes even more than the aforementioned content with a bunch of new skills, bug fixes, and a sizeable download. Depending on your platform you’ll need to shift out 10-20GB of space before you head out into Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s River Raid update on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S platforms today. You can heck out the full notes and patch sizes over on the official website now.
