Trion Worlds has sent word that Atlas Reactor has been updated and that competitive Season 5 has started. The update also comes along with a new Freelancer named Vonn the Scion of Ice. Players can also look forward to Valentine’s Day themed items including skins, icons and more.

As Season 5 kicks off, players will be given prestige points based on their performance and ranking in Season 4, which can be spent on golden ability effects. Ranked mode starts up again on February 13, and each week is themed around a specific Trust with alerts and mission rewards based around it.
Along with the Season 5 update, a new Freelancer has been added to the mix: Vonn the Scion of Ice! An advanced cyborg who weaponizes supercooled water to create shields and projectiles, Vonn adds a chilling new element to any battlefield. Vonn is a firepower freelancer with strong area of effect damage, utilizing slowing effects and damaging shields to stay alive.
Also, in celebration of Valentine’s Day just around the corner, new skins and emblems have been added to the Mad Love loot matrix! Starting today, players can earn loot matrices from alerts and daily missions, or they can purchase them from the in-game store. Grab those seasonal Valentine’s Day skins and Emblems before the event ends on February 20!
