Koei Tecmo America has announced the release date of the upcoming action game Attack on Titan 2. The title will release on March 20, 2018, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch as well as PC via Steam. To celebrate the announcement, the team has also shared a brand new trailer you can find above. Check out the new features coming with the game here!

Players will be able to create their own custom Scout in Attack on Titan 2, an all-new addition to the series, offering a fresh perspective on the events of both seasons of the worldwide anime hit, Attack on Titan. With enhanced Titan movements, Scouts will have to strategically use a plethora of new abilities in order to survive; from evade-style attacks like the hook drive ability, to long-rage sneak attacks – carefully strategized with the help of the new monocular tool!

  1. Seems like they’ve thrown in a lot of improvements. I’m pretty happy that they are following the original story and this looks action-packed. I hope it lives up to its trailer.

    • I have to admit that I have not played the first game and stopped following the manga / anime some time ago, but the moment with Ymir looks so much like what I remember seeing that it gave me chills 😀

      • Yeah, this one has me really intrigued. Everyone loves the series, but I’ve never seen it. Always seemed way too weird for me. This game? I can get behind it now, ha.

        • The series is a little brutal and I guess it isn’t to everyone’s taste, but I find that it has a very good feel to it, cause it isn’t just mindless slaughter.

It’s definitely worth picking it up again, the story has gotten better after they introduced the new arc in the manga. In my opinion at least.
