AvA Returns and Deploys To Steam This Spring

AvA, a much loved online FPS, is set to return to the action as Neowiz launches AvA Online on PC later this spring.

Also known as Alliance of Valiant Arms, AvA is an online shooter that has something of a following for a certain company of heroes. The hugely popular FPS was something of an underground hit when publisher En Masse brought it to players back in and then swiftly proceeded to discharge it from service. Since 2018, global players haven’t had their fix of this particular shooter and it looks like Neowiz, the same team that jsut launched Skul:The Hero Slayer, are set to bring it back. Featuring a ton of new content, PvP, and PvE encounters, as well as many tech improvements, AvA Online is loaded for release on 31 March 2021.

“We at Neowiz have been operating AVA in Korea and Japan since the game’s launch,” said David Kim, project manager for Neowiz. “And we’ve heard the cries for the game to come back to a global audience loud and clear. We’ve got a lot of new features and enhancements, and we can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on later this spring.”

As Neowiz has had time to improve upon our memories, AVA will return with a ton of new features and probably plenty you might have forgotten about. Once you’ve picked from many of the unique class types on offer, you can take your Pointman, Rifleman, or Sniper out into more than 30 maps and a variety of game modes and if you’ve never heard of AvA and are more used to flossing your way through Fortnite then this is a very different take on free to play shooters. Everything from escorts to demolition, deathmatch, and escape modes are on offer. Of course, we’re not going to be able to list every encounter that’s waiting so I’d suggest hopping over to the official Steam Store page to check out the game.
