Baldur’s Gate III Developers Shared A Very Larian Holiday Shanty

Larian Studios, the developers of Divinity: Original Sin 2 and the upcoming turn-based cRPG Baldur’s Gate III, have shared a small video to celebrate one hell of a year and wish the community well with A Very Larian Holiday Shanty. Make sure to keep your brains away from Mindflayers and hop aboard Lady Vengeance!

The year saw a variety of updates to Baldur’s Gate III, including the addition of the Druid and the Sorcerer classes as well as a massive graphical overhaul. Additionally, Divinity: Original Sin 2 made its way to iOS devices, received The Relics of Rivellon expansion and the Godwoken Graphic Novel.

Now, let’s stay tuned and hope for more news on all fronts in 2023  – maybe even the revival of certain Fallen Heroes!

About Baldur’s Gate III:

Gather your party, and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.

Abducted, infected, lost. You are turning into a monster, but as the corruption inside you grows, so does your power. That power may help you to survive, but there will be a price to pay, and more than any ability, the bonds of trust that you build within your party could be your greatest strength. Caught in a conflict between devils, deities, and sinister otherworldly forces, you will determine the fate of the Forgotten Realms together.

About Divinity: Original Sin 2:

The Divine is dead. The Void approaches. And the powers lying dormant within you are soon to awaken. The battle for Divinity has begun. Choose wisely and trust sparingly; darkness lurks within every heart.

Gather your party and develop relationships with your companions. Blast your opponents in deep, tactical, turn-based combat. Use the environment as a weapon, use height to your advantage, and manipulate the elements themselves to seal your victory.
